Instructions on controlling the deployment of a Management Packs to pilot scope of servers RRS feed

  • Hello ,
    Can anyone please share instructions that can control deployment of agents/MP to pilot scope of servers?
    -Step by steps for disabling the rule in SCOM R2 and custom mgmt pack
    -Custom override Mgmt ??

  • Hi Arvind

    Obviously only deploy agents to servers you want to monitor. If you do deploy a management pack such as SQL server and there is a SQL server that has an agent but you don't want to monitor SQL on it then Matt has started a good document on the discovery overrides required per Management Pack:
