What is the standard approach to create Office 365 Developer site

    Question

  • We are six developers. As per the below link, it is recommending to create a private site collection for each developer. But wouldn't it be good if we have a single public developer site collection and subsites created for each developer. This allows us to check each others work also less maintenance while maintaining these sites.

  • Hi Sundeep,

You can still create a single develop site to make the developers work with each other, the article from the link suggested the global admin permission so that the develop can create the developer site themselves.

So to work each other more easily, I suggested you can create a single site, assign the corresponding permission to each develop and make them work with in the single developer site.

    Thanks

    Best Regards

  • Do we need to create a private site as suggested in the link or a public site? Can we assign permissions to the developers for a private site?

  • Hi Sundeep,

Yes, you can still create only one private developer site collection and then assign permissions to each developer.

    Thanks
