Excel Report 2010 with time scale RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I created an Excel Report (2010) with a time scale (weeks of timesheet periods). Excel doesn't display weeks which don't have any data, so the time scale can jump from week10 to week16.

How can I display every week?

    Thanks

  • I would re-post to the Excel forum, describing that you are connecting to an external data source.

  • Which data source did you use? Reporting database or OLAP cube? Please show your query...

  • If you create an OLAP database, Excel templates are created automatically for all of the cubes. These templates are in the BI Center > Templates > Language Folder > Name of OLAP Database folder.

The templates that have Timephased in the title have a time dimension, allowing you to view the data over time (year, quarter, month, week and day). The Assignment Timephased and Portfolio Analyzer templates are my goto templates for most reports.
