Outlook exchange account setting out of date RRS feed

  • I'm suffering the Outlook exchange account setting out of date problem. It only happened with my corp. mail account using outlook exchang platform but do not affect my gmail account. 

    I tried to re-input the password as requested but make no difference. Delete the account and re-created it also do not help. I'm currently unable to synchronize this account.

    The version of the OS is 10586.164

  • Hi tianmaxk,

    your described issue might be related to previously saved credentials. You could try removing all previously saved credentials. To remove stored credentials and force Outlook to use your Windows desktop credentials, try this:

    1. Open Control Panel, then Credential Manager (Modern View: User Accounts)
    2. Select group Windows Credentials
    3. Grab the first credential set that has Outlook in the name
    4. Expand the set and click Remove
    5. Remove all additional saved Outlook credentials
    6. Test afterwards in Outlook.
