Question
-
Hello All,
I am going to install skype for business 2015 server where exchange 2013 server is already installed. currently exchange IIS and all other roles are working properly. But when I am trying to install the Skype for business 2015 server over there I am getting the webcomponent.msi error like below:
Failed to find node: /configuration/system.webServer/security/authentication/windowsAuthentication in XML file: C:\Windows\system32\inetsrv\config\applicationHost.config, system error: -2147020584
Please help me to find out the solution.
You can comment whether we can put exchange and skype on same server :)))
Thanks

Hello DC Admin,
You try to install SfB on the same server where exchange ist installed?
This is not supported and will not work. You have to use a own server only as SFB server.

Hi DC Admin,
Agree with Holger.
You can’t install SFB server on the machine which has been installed Exchange server.
I will share some documents about how to install SFB server
SFB Enterprise edition:
