Map drive issue using SMBv2 with iSeries system RRS feed

    Recently I have enabled SMBv2 in iSeries system, and encountered the problem described in KB2628582/KB2646563 below when using the map drive function with the iSeries system. The same issue is also mentioned in IBM document with subject "NetServer and Windows SMBv2 Caching"

    I've downloaded the hotfix "Windows6.1-KB2646563-x86.msu", but cannot be installed to my Windows with error "The update is not applicable to your computer". Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 is installed in my Windows already and I am using 32-bits OS also.

    Could anyone can help to solve the issue that I experienced?

    Hi，
    As mentioned in IBM document, please try to change the DirectoryCacheLifetime to a shorter time (for example,<= 3) to see if it helps.
    (located in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanWorkstation\Parameters)
