PowerPoint behaves strangely when it opens my older pptx presentations created in Office 2007. I have some audio mp3 files in the presentations, so PowerPoint offers to update links to these files. If I reject this warning, the files playback normally but the new option to edit sounds is inactive. If I choose to update links, then the Edit sound option is active, but some files won't play. PowerPoint says some codecs are missing. This is strange because all files are the same format and were created in the same program (Audacity). Still some of them work fine and some don't.
