Problem with ProClarity Analytics Reports in PPS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I'm having a problem with PPS ProClarity Analytics pages. I had a book published to PAS Server, I addressed a page from that book from PPS, the dialog used to connect to ProClarity views from PPS was working well. When I added the report to a Dashboard and previewed it gave me "Page cannot be found" error for the zone containing that report. I realized that PPS is linking to the page PDefaultPage.asp located in http://ServerName/PAS, while that file was physically located in  http://ServerName/PAS/en/src . Why is PPS referring to the wrong location? I don't want to change the location of the ProClarity files to make it work, is there a way to configure the URL that PPS refers to?

  • Hello,

after that you have added the PAS report using the dialog box try to change the Server Url property with http://servernameStick out tongueort/pas/en/src, deploy the report on PPS and check the preview, it should work.

  • Hi,

I have experienced the same problem and solve it follow the advice above.

Another problem is after I show the Proclarity decomposition tree and performance map view in the sharepoint, they can't interact with user. They can't be dill down and dill through. I can't do anything to the view.

My proclarity's edition is 6.0, if it is not supported by performancepoin and sharepoint server 2007?

    Thanks!

  • If you would like to keep the full functionality of ProClarity Web Standard through the decomp tree and performance map you could create a URL report in PPS instead of a PAS report. Then point the URL report to the web standard page that way you get the same funtionality as ProClarity Web Standard. You might want to use the "uiconfig" variables for ProClarity to get just the report to show up but this is another option for you.

  • Thank you Fabio,

I kept on getting "page not found" in the Dashboard Designer preview (http://localhost:40000/preview) and on the Sharepoint site that I published it to until I changed the "Server Url" to http://localhost/pas/en/src and then published it to the sharepoint site and the preview site.
