Outlook 2016 Mac crashes when sending a Calendar Invite RRS feed

  • Question

  • The Outlook 2016 on my MacBook Pro crashes EVERY TIME i click "Send" on a Calendar invite. After Outlook reopens, the calendar invite is in the place where I intended it to be.

Have tried removing the existing profile and creating a fresh one - but didn't help.

Any help on this will be appreciated.

  • Hi,

Do you have WebEx tool installed? If so, please try uninstalling the tool and then check if this issue continues.

We could perform a clean startup (safe mode) to determine whether background programs are interfering with Office for Mac. Please check the details in this link.

Besides, sometimes, a user's specific information may be corrupted. Please create a new user account to test if same issue occurs.

Any updates, please feel free to post back.

    Regards,

    Perry

  • I can say that I had the same problem, Outlook 2016 Mac crashing every calendar invite IF I had anything in the location field.  I uninstalled WebEx and tested, Outlook was then ok with calendar invites.  Installed WebEx again, and now Outlook works for calendar invites like there was never a problem.

    Thanks!
