    Hi all

    I have a MacBook Pro running OSX as my primary OS with Windows 8 Pro installed as a VM, However I now want to delete the VM and Install my copy of Windows 8 Pro on a partition to have a dual boot option. Poor performance of the VM is the primary reason for wanting to change to dual boot, so my question is... can I still use my activation key for Windows 8 Pro when I delete the VM and install to a new partition?

    N.B this would all be happening on the one computer.

    Look what license you have and call MS Activation Center

    I have 5 seperate keys for the company I work in, but the 5th key was used to make the test VM and I don't really know if they are "use once" keys or if I have multiple uses from each key? Is there even such a thing?

    Anyway, in the meantime I will try to ring them and maybe find out.
