SteadyState 2.5 on Vista accessing Sharepoint site on Domain RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have serval computers with Vista Business SP2 on a domain with SteadyState installed and i have them locked down properly ecexpt for one thing.  When i use the computers to go to a Sharepoint Intranet,  they get prompted for there username and password,  even though they have rights to the word or excel document.  If i use the same username and password on a computer without steadystate,  it works fine.  Any help would be great.

  • Hi Brian, thanks for the post. From the symptom, it seems like one restriction in Windows SteadyState causes the issue, you can check the following restriction and see the result:

Set Computer Restrictions – Uncheck “Do not store user names or passwords used to log on to Windows Live ID or the domain”.

    Hope this helps!
