DirectAccess whit Windows Server 2012 IPHTTPS Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • DirectAcces with Windows Server 2012
I finished setting DirectAcces wizard, and I could not resolve the following error message:

Error: The IP-HTTPS route does not have published property enabled.

Causes: The publish property oh the IP-HTTPS route has not been enabled. This is required for DirectAccess to work as expected.

Resolution: Set the publish property on the IP-HTTPS route.

I applied the following command and still displaying the error message:

    • Commandwas appliednetsh interfaceipv6 add route IP-HTTPSPrefix::/64IPHTTPSInterfacepublish=yes , but it says the object already exists.

    The scenario is as follow:

    • A Windows Server 2012 server with a network card.
    • DirectAcces server is located in the DMZ.

In the Event Viewer is display the following error:

IP-HTTPS server has failed to start with the following error: 0x4BE.

    IP HTTPS reason code 1.

    Event ID: 4302

    Thanks in advanced.

  • Hi, MegaParker

I am french and it's hard for me to talk in English. But did you try to specify a DNS name and not an external IP for public Interface ?

It worked for me (because my network is behind a NAT).
