Disable Start Menu and Desktop Icons in windows8.1 using Windows 2008 R2 server Group policy

    I have Domain controller windows 2008 R2. I want to configure a group policy to disable the start menu and desktop icons of a windows 8.1 client computer using group policy. Please help me how to do this.

    For disabling start menu, as far as I know, there is no specific group policy setting to do this. However, we can utilize group policy to customize start screen layout for Windows 8.1 computers.

    For disabling desktop icons, we can try to use the following policy setting to do this:
