Delete Folder MDT RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to delete the TileDataFolder via MDT as a run command line.

    rmdir "C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer" /q /s

The TS errors out upon trying to run this command. Am I doing this incorrectly?

    Please advise!

  • MDT can't run rmdir directly, it has to be run in the context of the command shell like this:

    cmd /c rmdir "C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer" /q /s

  • I believe this does not work because  c:\Users\Default is a hidden folder.  You probably need to attrib -h the structure before you perform the rmdir.
