Moving site content to a subsite RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello! I have a team site, and all of the content needs to be moved to a subsite as a sort of yearly archive. I only have Sharepoint Designer and a web browser with which to do this and I want to make sure all of the versioning remains intact.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks!

  • Not possible if you want to keep all the versioning.  If the site isn't too big you could save it as a template with content and then build a new site off the template.  But that won't retain the versioning history.  The only way to do that AND retain the versioning would be to write some custom code.
