Why does DPM restore files to a very long and complicated directory structure? RRS feed

  • Question

  • When restoring any files it stores them in a very convoluted directory structure. I want to just restore my file that I want in a single directory!

Is there no way to just restore an item to a certain path?

  • HI,

If you are using the option to restore to alternate location, then DPM restores using date-time\path-to-original-data.  You can simply cut / paste to your desired path after the restore is complete.
