Project 2010 site not creating from custom template with versioning turned on RRS feed

  • Question

  • If I turn off the versioning in the custom template the Project site will create properly.  Once the site is created I can go in and manually turn versioning on and it works properly.  With the versioning turned on in the custom template the project shows up on the Project site list under Server Setting-->Project Sites but of course there is no site address created.  If I try to create an address it tells me it already exists, which it isn't.  If I go into Site Actions-->Site Settings-->Content and Structure I see the site structure but it's empty.

Has anyone else run into this and if so is there a solution?

    Thanks, Forrest

  • After getting with Microsoft through my partner it was discovered that this is a bug in this version, SharePoint/PWA & Project Server SP1
