If you have full mailbox access on the departed person's mailbox you
can open it with a profile on your machine. Create a PST for each of
the people that you want to give messages to. Then copy the messages
from the mailbox to the appropriate PST. When you're done, give each
person their customized PST and they can import the messages into
    their own mailbox.

That's not an export, it's a "print". Why not use ExMerge and create a
PST file that contains the mailbox contents?

  • Hi,

In Exchange 2003, you can use Exmerge to export mailboxes. For more, you can refer to the following article:

Export mailboxes using Exmerge and Exchange 2003

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

  • Sophia and Rich,

Thanks for the info!  However, here's the situation I'm trying to address.  My user is no longer with the company.  His tasks have been distributed among three others.  I need to be able to give e-mail messages based on task to the new owners and have regulatory restrictions preventing me from giving each a full copy of the mailbox.

  • Thank you all for the info.  Looks like I need to read up on ExMerge and look to providing PST files.

    Regards,
