In order to have a better known of your issue, please provide me with more information related to your issue such as screenshots.(Notice: Please hide your personal information in the screenshot for security.)
Does this issue occur when users add their mailbox to Outlook client? Or after email account configuration?

It is suggested to log in to the webmail and see if these email accounts can work fine. If they can work fine on the webmail, this could be a temporary workaround for those problematic users.

In order to conduct further researches on your issue, please try the following suggestions to troubleshot:

    1. Network environment may cause issues like this, please try to use other network environment and see if the issue has any difference.
    2. A corrupted profile can lead this issue, so please try creating and using a new Outlook profile via Control Panel > Mail > Show profile and see if there is any difference.
    3. There could be some add-ins in your Outlook client that cause this issue, so it is suggested to start your Outlook in safe mode (Press Win + R, type “outlook /safe”, press Enter.) and see if the issue continues.

  • Hi Team,

We tried with every thing , we had re-created the user profile, SFC scan and PST / OST file scan but no luck.

Is there any setting, which we need to be performed on server end ( we have Exchange server 2013 with Cumulative Updates - 23).

    Thanks in advance!!!

    Regard's, Sumit Rathod

  • Hi ,

    Thanks for your reply.

    >> outlook trying to connect OR not responding to exchange server
Did the issue occur when adding your email account to Outlook or occur when syncing with the mail server?
Can these problematic email accounts work fine on the web mail as mentioned before?

    >> Can this problematic email account work fine on the web mail as mentioned before?
We consult with colleagues for Exchange support, and as I know, there is no related settings on server end which may cause this issue. It is suggested for you to try the Connectivity Analyzer Tool to test your connection to your email server and see if the issue has any difference.

    Hope this can be helpful.
