Possible to set a query name with a variable RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a custom function like this:

    let
        fnImportSheet = (SheetMonth as text) =>
    //do some stuff
    in
        fnImportSheet
    Is is possible to make the query name equal to the SheetMonth variable?

  • Hi Jiminie, You can do it in Excel 2016 Preview. Power Query is integrated in Excel and you can use VBA with Power Query to achieve your goal. • Great, thanks!  I don't have Excel 2016 on my work computer, but I do have it at home!  I'll play around with it one night this week.
