Skype for Business client locks up after 50 seconds RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are running Lync server 2013 and recently upgraded our clients to Skype for Business (16.0.4266.1001).

After the upgrade response group agents get disconnected 50 seconds after receiving the call. The Skype client also locks up. No problem with the Lync 2010 client. No problem with DID or outgoing calls with either client.

In every location we had this problem the following Regex was in the dial plan: ^9?1?([2-9]\d\d[2-9]\d{6})(\s*\S*)*$

Replacing it with this solved the problem: ^9?1?([2-9]\d\d[2-9]\d{6})$

So it looks as if \s*\S* which removes extension numbers is incompatible with SFB...

Has anyone else run across this ?

  • No, but you didn't really need the \s in the first place I don't believe.  Lync and Skype handles spaces without it.

  • Agree with Anthony, Lync server and SFB server handle the dial plans without the \s*\S*. You may refer to the following TechNet KB:
