Hyper-V disaster recovery when failure occurs on blade server RRS feed

  • Question

  • Good Day,

I have 4 blade servers, installed hyper-v on them to host VMs , every blade server have its own mirrored Hard disks for its operating system ( Drive C) , on each host server there is another drive (Drive D) that is got from the SAN storage (through iSCSI driver) that hosts virtual machines .

I want to have specific redundancy rate so that when a Host machine fails (Host 1)  , other host server (Host 2) will handle the VMs that are on the failed blade server.

    Note that

    * Host 2 also have its own VMs

*The D drive on Host 1 (the failed machine) is seen as Drive E on Host 2

    Regards
