  • Confirmed for Surface 2 Professional.

Brightness cannot be regulated in various ways. Seems to run at 100% after upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Technical Preview 9962.

I disabled the sensor, but neither by using the hotkeys nor by adjusting brightness in power options any impact to brightness is seen.

  • Hi,the working solution I got pointed to by another MVP was to uninstall the Monitor from Device Manager, than install it again. After that procedure the Mobility Center did allow me to adjust the brightness again.

But the keyboard hotkeys are still not working.
