Alternative voice routes not working using Audiocodes MP114 Gateways RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I am having trouble configuring backup routes.

I have created a voice route in Lync which forwards specific numbers to a MP114 gateway (with 2FXO) and a backup route in case the 2 FXO are busy on the first gateway to another MP114.

I am getting the following error: Gateway responded with 404 Not Found (User Not Found) when the 2 FXO of the 1st gateway is busy.

Can someone please help on the configuration?

Answers

  • Finally found the issue. Configured the forward on busy feature on the MP114 gateway to route calls back to Lync mediation server. Then the call is forwarded to the next route correctly.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Did you configure the second GW right, because it looks like the gateway could not route the call

  • Yes. When using the 2nd gateway (instead of the 1st) as the default route it is working.

  • Hm, so the only way to find this is to make a trace on the mediationserver with the ocslogger and a syslogtrace on the GW to see what happened.

  • Im thinking maybe I have wrongly configured the MP114 and that it does not find a route to send the call back to Lync

  • Hi,

Please try to enable the logging tool with mediationserver component to get the detailed report. Regarding how to enable logging on lync find the below url which will help

  • Could you check your normalization from the GW to Lync, maybe there is something wrong in the manipulation of the GW
