Hi,
I would like to assist you in the problem, but I’m just wondering whether you could provide more information for the problem. For example, the current OS version, the name of the software, any error massage. And please ensure the application to support Windows7. I understand that this may be a lot of information to ask for at one time. However, by collecting this information now, it will help us move more quickly toward a solution.
As a workaround, you may use the XP mode to run this.
Thanks for understanding

It would be useful knowing something more about the software you're trying to run and the issues you're experimenting.
Anyway, if you're absolutely sure about the program run well in Windows XP, you can make it run in one of the following two ways:
- if you're running Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate, you can download and install Windows Virtual PC (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=2B6D5C18-1441-47EA-8309-2545B08E11DD)
and then Windows XP mode (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=FB633E9D-DDBC-4044-BB09-4F99E757064E): doing so, you'll get
a complete 32-bit Windows XP Professional SP3 environment where you can run your application.
You can find information about Windows Virtual PC at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/default.aspx.
Before installing this Windows 7 feature, you have to be sure about your system hardware virtualization support: download and execute the Microsoft Hardware-Assisted Virtualization Detection Tool (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=0ee2a17f-8538-4619-8d1c-05d27e11adb2) to perform this check; use as further guidelines the instructions at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/support/configure-bios.aspx. - you can use a software virtualization program, like the free VirtualBox (http://www.virtualbox.org): you can create a virtual machine, install the operating system you want (even MS-DOS! Take a look at http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Guest_OSes for a complete list of the supported guest operating systems) and run your software.
Bye!
