BitLocker VHD RRS feed

  • Question

  • Yesterday I created a Bitlocker VHD of 10 GB from my D drive, when I rebooted my machine, I didn't find this VHD. Why? How to recover this VHD that I named Drive A?

  • Hi Profanil,

When we restart the machine, the VHD drive will be ejected.

Please take the following step to attach it again to have a check.

Open the Disk Management window (Search it directly from the start menu) and select Action > Attach VHD. Browse to the VHD file on your system, and attach it to your system.

    Best regards
