How to enable App V 5 debug logs?

Question

I wrongly assumed that enabling the "show analytic and debug logs" would enable all of the appv logs
any ideas?
Thanks

Yeah. I was getting curious and installed an App-V 5.0 Client on a new Windows Box. With App-V 5.0 the Debug logs as shown here were present. I upgraded the Client to 5.1 and they were gone.
They probably consolidated them into the few Logs that we have now with 5.1

Just right click the Debug log and click "Enable log"

What App-V Version are you using? 5.1?
If I remember it correctly, there were around 50 logs in App-V 5.0 but I also have the same logs available as you with 5.1.

Just an FYI, nothing gets captured to the logs before you enable them. So you have to enable them, THEN repro. The Show Debug option just shows them to you so you can turn them on.Friday, March 3, 2017 3:25 PM

They consolidated the eventlog with App-V 5.0 SP3. Only enable those debug logs if needed :)
