Our sharepoint 2007 down, the company donot want to spend money to repair or upgrade it.
Are there some way to get the old user document out from sharepoint?
Do you have access to the SQL databases? If so you might want to contact the author of this tool to see if it would work with 2007 databases: http://spdbfextractor.codeplex.com/
If you can attach the SQL database to a SQL server, you can find a number of scripts and SQL queries that could extract the files. Here's one that uses a VB script: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/field_notes/archive/2008/06/23/recover-documents-from-moss-2007-database.aspx
Do a web search and see what else is out there: http://www.bing.com/search?q=extract+document+from+sharepoint+database
