Power Query from Microsoft Exchange - Folder path that I want not showing up RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello all,

I've run a power query out of my Microsoft exchange Outlook account and it provides me with all the information I'm after. The problem is that it doesn't return any emails from the folder that I'm after! The power query is returning everything from my personal outlook account, but I also have a folder which is shared with me by someone else in my organization (it's a "public folder"). Is there a way to include this public folder in my query?

Hopefully that makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Nathan,

Right now, Power Query does not support the Exchange shared folders. If you want us to support it, you can create a new thread for it in here https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas explain the feature you need.

However, we do support shared mailboxes (you enter the shared mailbox as the mailbox parameter, then use your own UPN & password). If you're able to change the way this data is shared with you (being sent to that shared mailbox) you can use Power Query on it.

    Thanks
