SRS Rights...Unable see the reports RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have successfully setup srs in sccm, but my IT asset manager cannot see the reports from either the console or srs intranet site. She can get to the site and the reporting services node in the console but does not see any reports. I can see the reports but my AD account is in the local administrators group on the primary site server.

What settings do I need to change so she has rights. I don't want to add her account to the local administrators group.

  • Hi,

You need to be a member of the local SMS Reporting users group on the Reporting Point. Besides that, you also need read permissions to one or more reports in the ConfigMgr. console.

  • She can see all the web reports and is a member of the sms reporting users group. The issue that we are having is with sql reporting services in the console.

  • Permissions for the Reporting Services reports have to be set outside ConfigMgr: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc872802.aspx
