Windows Hello for Business fails on Windows 10 pc - This option is currently unavailable RRS feed

  • I set up Windows Hello for Business on-premise Key Trust deployment. While trying to activate Windows Hello on AD-connected computer, I get the message "This option is currently unavailable".

    Checking the Event Log, I saw there a message: "The Primary Account Primary Refresh Token prerequisite check failed" (event ID 7201, Source HelloForBusiness, Category Prerequisites Check").

    Googling the problem led to many posts that are either unresolved or not applicable to my scenario.

    Can anyone help me troubleshooting this?
