  • Hi,

If you send office files such as a Word file or Excel File, will the same issue happen?

According to my research, this issue is normally caused by the missing Mail Recipient shortcut in the Send to folder. To fix this, please check following steps.

    1. Go to C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

    2. On the View tab, tick File Name Extensions to show extensions.

    3. Right-click and choose New > Text Document to create a text file in the folder

    4. Rename it as MailRecipient.MAPIMail (do not use .txt extension).

If issue continues, it may be related with corrupted MsMapi.dll file. To fix it, please follow the steps below.

    1. Exit Outlook.

    2. Rename Msmapi32.dll located C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\system\MSMAPI\1033\

    3. Run C:\WINDOWS\system32\fixmapi.exe (runs silently)

    4. go to Control Pane > Programs and Features.

    5. Right click your Office suit. Click Change and then click Repair.

Hope this is helpful to you. If you have more concern about this issue, please don’t hesitate to tell me.

    Regards,

    Perry
