Disable Microsoft Access AUto Update option not visible RRS feed

    I have installed Access 2013 of Microsoft and want to check whether Auto Update is enabled or disabled. But the option where we check for updates i.e. File-->Account-->Update option should be visible. But its hidden or not there. Does that mean its disabled?

    Can you check in the following registry.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\policies\microsoft\office\15.0\common\OfficeUpdate

    DWORD: HideEnableDisableUpdates
    Values:
    1 = hide the menu option to enable or disable automatic updates
    0 = show the menu option to enable or disable automatic updates

    DWORD: EnableAutomaticUpdates
    Values:
    0 = automatic updates are disabled
    1 = automatic updates are enabled
