Certificate requirement of hybrid Exchange 2016 and Online RRS feed

    Hello Experts,

    I'm requesting certificate for the hybrid setup.  In case in the future there will be new names needed in the certificate. I was thinking if i could use wildcard cert. like *.companyname.com 

    I didn't find much information regarding wildcard cert for hybrid Exchange. Would you please tell me the answer. If we can use wildcard cert.  how to generate a CSR in Exchange.

    Hi TianChen,

    Yes, you can use a wildcard cert in a Hybrid environment.

    Please refer to the following article to request a wildcard cert:

    Moreover, when using a wildcard cert, you may run into an issue with Exchange Hybrid Migration Wizard, there is an workaround for your reference:
