Import user from another domain RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have a question: I want import from another domain so i put like this:

    //LDAP:servertest.server1.local,dc=servertest,dc=server1,dc=local

    Username: servertest.server.local\administrator

    Pass:******

    When i try test connection, i receive a error: the account entered is not valid. Enter valid account

    any idea?

  • Hi, is it on the AD connector. Try user as administrator@servertest.server.local instead, if your domain is named servertest.server.local.

    I think you got the LDAP query wrong. It should be LDAP://servertest.server1.local/dc=servertest,dc=server1,dc=local
    Also, make sure that your management server can resolve servertest.server1.local and that there's no firewall blocking the traffic.

    I see that DLAP and domain user are not the same, I think it must be the same "servertest.server1.local" or "servertest.server.local"
