Question

Hi,
I'm researching on a software development tool which will allow the user to type in search word(s) (like google), and the system will display all the records containing the search word across all database columns and tables. Is this possible in Sharepoint? If so, can you give me leads on how to do so?
I appreciate your input.
Best,
CC

Hi,
You can do this via BDC in sharepoint.
You can define connections to connect to your database and then via webpart you can display down the results.
I hope this will help you out.
Thanks,
