Disabled policy versus stopping NPS service 2008 RRS feed

  • Question

  • When we disabled the only NPS policy with "grant" access, users can still connect via wireless. Log files shows new connections using this policy while disabled (!)

When we stop the NPS service users can no longer connect.

Why is does the disabled policy not reject connections?

Policy is used by Cisco WLC.

    Thank you,

    -Bob

  • Hi Bob,

    Thank you for the post.

Please post the NPS log and run command "netsh nps show np" to verify the policy is disabled.
If you set to policy with "deny" access before disabled it, does that work?
