Stretched fax Tif images RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a few users that receive faxes in their email. When the get delivered they are .TIFF images. Whenever you open the images in windows picture and fax viewer or Microsoft Office Picture Manager they look okay, but you go to print them and they are all stretched out. I have looked for settings to change this and have com up empty handed.. Any suggestions?

Hi Austin, after checking the issue, it seems this is a general Windows system issue. As this forum focuses on Windows SteadyState specific issues, this inquiry would best be posted to Windows newsgroup:

  • Do we know if the issue is coming from the way the fax is sent (if for example they're using a Windows NT Fax service that's causing the stretch), or if the problem is on the receiving end?
