  • Question

  • From reviewing the Application Log we started seeing the below errors after MsiInstaller, HPZBDI32.MSI, was ran.

Faulting application spoolsv.exe, version 6.0.6002.18005, time stamp 0x49e02592, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6002.18005, time stamp 0x49e03821, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00066592, process id 0x134, application start time 0x01cae15e6ceae255.

We have set all printers to using Generic Text Only and removed all HP print drivers but still continue to see the error.

    Any ideas/suggestions?

    Thanks!

  • I'd start with the ones I have had experience with that corrupt spooler memory

    HP Universal Print Monitor, HPPMOPJL

    and

    hpcpp081

    Start spooler

  • You will need to remove all the HP software.  Unfortunately the spooler provides no UI to remove print processors and language monitors.  Well I suppose regedit is UI but not from the spooler.

  • Edit the registry as mentioned in the "Error messages typically caused by local port monitor problems" section of the article? Is that how you are referring to removing all the HP software? Thanks!

  • If there is still HP software there Export the key then delete the HP stuff

Monitor (If you have HP Master Monitor get rid of that one) and Print Processor.  If you are on x64 be sure to look under the

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows x64\Print Processors
