Setup Project Server 2016 Multi-tenancy RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We are planning to setup Project Server 2016 in Azure as multi-tenancy environment.

I was not able to find documentation regarding the configuration required to achieve multi-tenancy and I have very limited experience with Project Server.

Can someone please provide a link or some information regarding:

    - Software requirements if different from the general requirement for Project Server 2016

    - License requirement for multi-tenancy

    - Any extra requirement for having the server setup in Azure

    - Configuration required for multi-tenancy

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Regards

    Winnie

  • There isn't much documentation on PS 2016 and will need to use SharePoint 2013 documentation as guidance. The multi tenancy is going to happen thru SharePoint and not so much as in project server.

It should work the same because all off project server database data structures are not added into a content database when it is provisioned.  It's all done with PowerShell as well.
