Synchronization rule creation error with PowerShell Connector RRS feed

  • Question

  • I configure Microsoft PowerShell Connector. I did the Import (Full Import and Delta Import) without problems.

When I tried to create the outbound sync rule in the portal, the wizard interrupted with an error. There are no errors in event log.

    I select an outbound scope

    Outbound scope

    I select a relationship criteria:

    relation ship criteria

But, when I click en next wizard fails:

    error

I am using MIM build 4.4.1749.0 and Sharepoint 2013 with Windows server 2012 R2.

    Any Help?

    Thanks in Advanced

  • If you turn on portal tracing, https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/2260.how-to-configure-fim-portal-tracing.aspx, you should be able to get at the underlying exception.

    Thanks,
    Brian

  • I configure the tracing and there are several exception, but I do no understand the messages. For example at the time of the error (as it write in event log) the exception message says:

The address of the security token issuer is not specified. An explicit issuer address must be specified in the binding for target 'http://amssclmimshpdv:5725/ResourceManagementService/Enumeration' or the local issuer address must be configured in the credentials.

up to I find this message:

ErrorHandlingModule.HandlePortalException: The following error is not handled through FIM components :Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown.

I am running the Sync rule creation wizard with MIM_Administrator (the account used to install MIM). What other security problem should I have? Should I configure impersonation in the powershell MA?

    Thanks for your help
