OAL Timer GetTickCount Tests (Compact 7) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I want to test OAL timer functionality from my BSP.

I execute OAL Timer GetTickCount Tests from CETK.

I got error like that "Failed to execute the OAL Timer GetTickCount Tests".

    And Board also disconnected.

    Anyone Please share your ideas.

  • Hi,

Thank you for your response, I found the issue in BSP side and I forgot to disable Watchdog API for that reason the CETK Software Test Kit is disconnected while start the test

    Thank You,

  • Are you running a tiny kernel as per test prerequisites?

Do you have oaltesttimers.dll in your kernel image, as well as all the CETK required dlls and exes?

You can run this test on the device itself without requiring a connection to the CETK. Just look at the command line options to save the log locally.

It's often a better way to run certain tests.

    Also:

    Troubleshooting the Test

    • Ensure that you are running on a minimal OS configuration.
    • Ensure that drivers and servers running on the OS meet real-time constraints and do not interrupt the test.
    • Verify that no drivers are running at overly high priority or for overly long time periods.
    • The Kernel Scheduler (ksched) test may be helpful for further investigation of failures.
    • Determine the point of failure and record the exact error message. Check that the setup steps were followed and that all prerequisites were met. If the source code is available, examine the point of failure in code to see if any additional information can be gathered about the failure domain.

For additional platform specific issues, consult the CTK articles on the TechNet wiki.
