mails delivery delayed/stuck in draft or outbox in owa or outlook.

Question
-
We have primary site and DR site in single DAG over MPLS link. All users are connected to primary site. When the link between primary and DR is at high latency the mail which is sent from user OWA or Outllok delayed in draft or outbox in OWA or Outlook respectively. However when the MPLS link is completely down means timed out, the mail delivery is very quick.
Even I have this issue when I send an email to myself or any internal users within same database.
I have Posted message tracking log of one test mail with 1 MB attachment.

This issue finally resolved after disable “ShadowRedundancyEnabled” in Get-Transportconfig. Due to high letancy in remote site, all exchange servers are creating shadow copy of all outgoing emails in all mailbox servers, which was making mail flow slow. Now i am checking solution to work on low latency.
