Hi all,
I have searched the forums for a similar issue but could not find any. DPM 2010 has generally been working very well in our environment, but the last two days it has been throwing the following errors:
Computer\System Protection (server.domain) DPM failed to create the backup. If you are backing up only System State, verify if there is enough free space on the protected computer to store the System State backup. On protected computers
running Windows Server2008, verify that Windows Server Backup (WSB) is installed and that it is not performing any other backup or recovery task. (ID 30214 Details: Internal error code: 0x809909FB) You can see the errors reported by WSB in
the Eventlog on the protected computer server.domain. For resolution actions and more information on these errors, go to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc734488(WS.10).aspx.
The server in question is a Server 2003 X64 box that has previously had no issues backing up the system state. There is more than 25GB free on the C: drive so it isn't a space issue. Also, no error logs are being generated on the target server, and the logs
on the DPM server display the following:
The back up to tape job failed for the following reason: (ID: 3311)

I would appreciate any help you could provide, this is really quite important to solve as this is one of our Exchange 2007 mailbox servers.
Cheers,
Peter
