SCCM 2012 Client Migration-GUID gets change RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I am migrating SCCM 2012 client from Sccm 2007 via client push method(Sccm 2012 console). Could some advise/guide, why sccm client is changing is its GUID. SCCM 2007 client was working & healthy.

Below logs have been captured from ccmsetup.log

  • What command-line are you using to run ccmsetup?

Have you reviewed clientlocation.log and locationservices.log?

Posting just the error messages from a log file is nearly useless as that simply says, yes, there is a problem.

  • Without knowing what's in the log files, there's nothing else anyone can say here.

Have you read and followed https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/925282/how-to-troubleshoot-advanced-client-push-installation-issues-in-systems-management-server-2003-and-system-center-configuration-manager-2007?
