Fn key problem, laptop num pad generates only half the numbers RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

My laptop (DellXPS m1330 with WinVista Home Premium) recently started to act up, I can't type all numbers with the numeric pad. It is posible to write 0,.,+,4,5,6,*, but I am not able to write 1,2,3,-, 7, 8, 9, / using it. It does look like a hardware issue because I can use all the other functions that require using the Fn key (screen brightness, battery check, etc.)
    Any ideas? Suggestions?

    Thanks,

    J.

This is a hardware problem, there is no way we can diagnose or fix this from here.

You need to contact Dell for support with this.

    Hope this helps.
