Does Windows Embedded support SCCM 2007? RRS feed

  • Hi,

     

    Can we manage computers with windows embedded through SCCM? Can we install SCCM 2007 client in them?

     

    Please advise.

    It really depends on which Windows Embedded product you are using and your arrangement with the OEM if the device was preloaded with Windows Embedded from the manufacturer.  In general, the System Center Configuration Manager client can be installed on Windows Embedded (non-CE) images as long as the image contains all capabilities required for the Config Mgr client software.
