adding a user with administrator access to a public folder RRS feed

  • Question

  • How does one add a user with administrator access on a public folder? (i.e. I would like to add a user who's userid is backup-sft0

This server is an exchange 2013 /w service pack 1 installed the the public folder is test_folder

Can I do this with the exchange power shell command?

  • yes I'm using the 2014 version.

It must be a rights issue, as another user I created doesn't have access to both the private mailbox and public folder even thou I gave the new user exact rights as the administrator.

    Any idea's?
