    Dears,

    We have a central site and a primary child site. When we create a collection on the primary child site, it is not replicated to it's parent site. Shouldn't the collections be propagated upwards?

    That's default behavior and cannot be changed. Collections are only replicated down.

    Correct, management and administrative data (which includes collections) replicates down the hierarchy. Client data and site configuration replicates up the hierarchy.
