Can one mix and match different key board and mouse with a different receiver. Original has been lost. If so how does one align the frequencies so all parts are recognized.
I don't think the Microsoft receivers and input devices are interchangeable, or at least in my experience they are not. I have read elsewhere that if you contact Microsoft hardware support they will send you a replacement. I have never gotten around to
confirming this; it may just be rumor.
